Bimini Day 10: island life, back in the swing of things

One of the perils of living, however temporarily, on a small island with a resident population of only 1,600 is that the things we have grown to assume will be there are often quite fleeting in their availability. We had a large thunderstorm come over the island friday night and while it only took out power for less than an hour, it took out the internet for much longer. We only just got internet restored this evening, so we apologize for the lack of blog posting, and we will be back to our regularly scheduled daily blog post by tomorrow.
